Relaxation Exercise Number 2
So I had another attempt at a relaxation exercise. I still had the same troubles as the first time. I was able to go in and out of my mind wandering. I did everything before I did the exercise so I wasn't thinking what I had to do when I was done. This time I was thinking about how my mail box was hit my a young girl who was texting and how she has not paid for it yet, a week later. I didn't file a police report and now I am thinking I should have. I tried to be nice and now I think she is not going to fix it. Lesson learned always file a report then you won't be as stressed! I also drifted in and out again of what my relaxation room will look like.

Well I think you did the right thing in letting the girl go and excepting her word that she will pay for the mail box. I look at it this way- If she doesnt pay for it that stinks for you, but later when this girl realizes how immature she was when she was younger she'll realize what a NICE person you were and she herself will feel really crappy for not doing what she should have. What goes around comes around.
ReplyDeleteAs for the exercise...I haven't read a post yet that the person has been able to keep their mind from wandering. Can we make the assumption that all people ramble on and on in their minds?
That is terrible, once she hit your mailbox, did she apologize and give you her phone number or some other information. It is difficult to keep your mind focused on one thing at a time. I know for myself, sometimes I am all over the place.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Aly, I think we are all guilty of mind rambling and doing mentally and physically a million things at once.
ReplyDeleteShe apologized and said she would pay for it. Well I found out her gardian is her grandpa. I spoke with him and he took care of it. She had lied to him. So I feel better, but she is in some trouble now. At least I can get that out of my head now!
